Adult Study and Fellowship

 

Disciple Bible Study meets Thursday evenings from 7-9 PM throughout the school year. This class is a good fit for anyone who wants to get to know the Bible better.  

LHUMC Young Married Couples (YMC) encourages faithful bonds, friendship and sharing of support during the many aspects of a young marriage. Events are schedule 6 times per year and include both service and social aspects.

55+Fellowship provides fun, food and outings for older adults and meets each month throughout school year.

Saturday Morning Men’s Breakfast & Book Study Group meets the second Saturday of each month, 9:30 AM at Pearson’s Restaurant.

Peace and Justice Group meets the third Saturday of each month at 9:30 AM to discuss and find ways to get involved in addressing the systemic causes of injustice in the world.

Open Knitting meets Tuesday mornings 9 AM-NOON.  Join us to knit, crochet, learn or just chat.

UMW (United Methodist Women) is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. UMW Circles (small groups) meet monthly.

Needleworkers Group meets at 9:30 AM on the second Wednesday of each month. Bring along your crafts and needlework or just chat with interesting people.

Adult Forums are offered on Sunday mornings on a variety of topics.
