Children and Family Ministries

 

Godly Play is open to all children aged 3 years-6^th grade and offered during both hours of worship. Neighbors and friends are always welcome, so please invite them! For more information about the Godly Play curriculum, visit GodlyPlay.org

 

Family Service Group meets regularly for fellowship and service projects with families and children of all ages. Past projects include packing at Feed My Starving Children, preparing Breakfast Bundles for Cornerstone Ministries and “adopting” an orphanage in Sierra Leone, Africa.

 

Cherub Choir teaches simple, chorus singing for children ages 2-6 and meets Sunday mornings between services for three to four weeks at a time before a performance in worship. All levels of talent are welcome. (see Music Ministries)

 GodsKids Choir trains choral singing for all levels of talent in grades 1-6 and meet Wednesday evenings, September-May. Dinner is provided for singers and families before practice. (see Music Ministries)

 Lake Harriet Preschool is a nationally accredited program, offering both morning and afternoon sessions. 

 Lake Harriet Playroom is a “parent morning out” program offered each Friday throughout the school year.

Faith and Parenting: Growing Together meets Mondays from 9:30-11:30 AM and includes separate learning experiences for children and parents; nursery care is provided for children under age 3.
