Come Join United Methodist Women!

Last year Lake Harriet UMW members contributed more than $3,000 to support services for women, children and youth. We helped support:

• our church youth mission trips
• theater ministry
• Joyce Bi-Lingual Pre-School
• Congregations Concerned for Women
• Southwest Meals-on-Wheels
• Time-Out for Moms
• Walked Auxiliary
• and Emma Norton Services

We are everywhere. Sometimes we don't make a big noise, but we're still there, working hard for women and children's issues in the world and the Twin Cities.

Also, UMW groups are connected in the world. We help missions in the Caribbean, Asian/Pacific Islands, Mexico and Central America, South America, Middle East, the United States and even Europe.

Our local UMW offers devotions, sisterhood, friendship, education, social action, service to other church members and to the church.
