Help is Out There

Let's face it - being a teenager is tough.  Like, really tough.  Sometimes, it may seem too tough. Sometimes you might feel like you are all alone, that you can't talk to anybody, and you have NO idea what to do.

Here are some helpful resources, and you are encouraged to check them out, and refer them to friends who might be hurting as well.

Web Sites

These Web sites will have contact information on them.

www.safeyouth.org

Same people as the phone number above, but their Web site. This has tons of information on bullying, teen dating violence, and all other areas that cause hurt among youth. You can talk to a real person online, or contact them on the phone.

Using this Web site gives you the freedom to browse around and gain information for yourself, and in being an aware friend.

www.crisis.org

This is based right out of Minneapolis. They also have phone numbers available for you to talk, but the variety of resources they offer is really helpful too. You can gain information online, quick and easy. They do not offer online counseling, however, like safeyouth.org.

http://www.coolnurse.com/self-injury2.htm

This site has information on warning signs, reasons, and stories from people who have known someone or have themselves done self injury or self mutiliation. Very informative, and very important to know.
