What's Happening this Fall?
Wednesday Night Youth Ministries
Each Wednesday night offers a great opportunity to be a part of the youth community at LHUMC.
5:30 - Teen Drama. For youth in grades 7th-12th, there is a new group forming to work on a play, maybe some music, maybe some improv...for sure it will be fun! This group is led by Kathy Webb, the Director of Music Ministries.
6:00 - Dinner. All youth, children, and adults who are around on Wednesday nights are invited to dinner in our Fellowship Hall. This is a great opportunity to share a meal and meet new people! Meals are provided by the families of the current Confirmation and Gods Kids Choir participants.
6:30 - Large Group Games. All 7th-12th grade youth play some active and silly games before breaking into our small groups.
7:00 - Small Groups. 7th and 8th grade youth will break into Confirmation Small Groups, 10th - 12th grade youth will break off into Sr. High Drop In. 9th graders alternate between Confirmation and Sr. High Drop In.
Fellowship Events and Other Activities
There are plenty of activities and events for youth throughout the year, other than Wednesday nights. While Wednesday nights do hold a bulk of the participation and variety, there are traditional events such as the Ski Trip (in January), going to movies, going to UMC Conference Events, and much more!
