Lake Harriet United Methodist Church is located between 50th Street West and 49th Street West on the block between Chowen and Beard Avenues South. We have a large parking lot, which is accessible from both Chowen and Beard Avenues South. The main entrance is facing the parking lot.

Traveling into Minneapolis from the North:
From I-35W traveling south: take the 46th Street exit (#13) Turn right (west) onto 46th Street and go 0.6 mile to Lyndale Avenue. Turn left (south) onto Lyndale and go to 50th Street West. Turn right (west) onto 50th Street and travel 1.8 miles to Chowen Avenue South. Turn right (north) onto Chowen, go ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.

From I-694 traveling west or I-94 traveling east: merge onto Minnesota Highway 100 south. Travel about 12 miles to the West 50th Street/Vernon Avenue exit (#35A). Turn left (east) onto West 50th Street. Travel about 1.2 miles to Chowen Avenue South. Turn left (north) onto Chowen forl ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.

From Highway 169 traveling south: merge onto I-394 east and travel to Minnesota Highway 100 south. Go about 4 miles to West 50th Street/Vernon Avenue exit (#35A). On the top of the exit, turn left (east) onto West 50th Street. Travel about 1.2 miles to Chowen Avenue South. Turn left (north) onto Chowen, travel ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.

Traveling into Minneapolis from the South:
From I-35W traveling north: merge onto Highway 62 West via exit 108 on the left. Travel on Highway 62 West and take the Xerxes Ave. exit. Turn right (north) onto Xerxes and go about 1.5 miles to West 50th Street. Turn left (west) onto West 50th Street and travel 5 blocks to Chowen Avenue South. Turn right (north) onto Chowen, go ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.
From Highway 169 traveling north: merge onto I-494 going east. Exit onto Minnesota Highway 100 north. Travel north about 1.5 miles to the Eden Avenue/Vernon Ave/West 50th Street exit. Turn left (north) onto Grange road and go <0.1mile to West 50th Street. Turn right (east) onto West 50th Street and travel 1.1 miles to Chowen Avenue South. Turn left (north) onto Chowen, travel ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.

From Highway 212, which turns into Highway 62 east as it travels toward Minneapolis: merge onto Highway 100 north. Travel north about 1.5 miles to the Eden Avenue/Vernon Ave/West 50th Street exit. Turn left (north) onto Grange road and go <0.1mile to West 50th Street. Turn right (east) onto West 50th Street and travel 1.1 miles to Chowen Avenue South. Turn left (north) onto Chowen, travel ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.

Traveling into Minneapolis From the East:
From I-94 traveling west: merge onto 35W south. Take the 46th Street exit (#13) and go straight. You are now on Steven’s Avenue South moving toward 46th Street (<0.6 mile). Turn right (west) onto 46th Street and go 0.6 mile to Lyndale Avenue South. Turn left (south) onto Lyndale Ave. South and go 0.4 mile to West 50th Street. Turn right (west) onto West 50th Street and travel 1.8 miles to Chowen Avenue South. Turn right (north) onto Chowen, go ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.

From I-494 traveling east: merge onto I-35 W north toward Minneapolis. Merge onto Highway 62 West via exit 108 on the left. Travel on Highway 62 West and take the Xerxes Ave. South exit. Turn right (north) onto Xerxes Ave. South and go about 4 miles to West 50th Street. Turn left (west) onto West 50th Street and travel 5 blocks to Chowen Avenue South. Turn right (north) onto Chowen, go ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.

Traveling into Minneapolis from the West
From I-394 traveling east: merge onto Minnesota Highway 100 south. Travel about 4 miles to West 50th Street/Vernon Avenue exit (#35A). On the top of the exit, turn left (east) onto West 50th Street. Travel about 1.2 miles to Chowen Avenue South. Turn left (north) onto Chowen, travel ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.

Follow signs to Minneapolis: merge onto Minnesota Highway 62 West and travel about 4 miles to the Xerxes Ave. South exit. Exit and turn right onto Xerxes going about 1.5 miles to West 50th St. then turn left (west) onto West 50th St. Travel 5 blocks to Chowen Ave. South. Turn right (north) onto Chowen, travel ½ block and turn right (east) into the church parking lot.
