The Outreach Ministry Team offers leadership for a variety of outreach activities, connecting our members to a rich list of outreach ministries.

Do all the good you can,

As long as ever you can.

John Wesley's famous quote sums up Lake Harriet's Outreach Ministries basic approach to all we do.

Outreach handles the community service projects at LHUMC ranging from Joint Religious Legislative Coalition's (JRLC) Day on the Hill, participation through hunger relief programs such as Meals on Wheels, Wesley Meals, and supporting Joyce Uptown Food Shelf, to affordable housing through Habitat for Humanity. We also support international missions such as Feed My Starving Children and OC Ministries.

Outreach also is responsible for derermining the monthly Communion, Christmas, and Easter offering recipients.

Sample of annual events that the team coordinates:

• Habitat for Humanity Paint-a-thon
• CROP Walk (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty)
• Bloodmobile

Members of this team also support trips such as the hurricane relief trips to Mississippi, and trips to Africa with Lyndy thourgh O.C. Ministries OC stands for Operation:
