Shout Band

What

You may have heard us play on stage at the Fulton Neighborhood Festival held in Pershing Park, or leading worship every Sunday at 11:00 am. People who listen just can’t help tapping their foot, no, stomping… no, dancing and singing along!

The music selection and talent in this group helps many on their spiritual journey. Currently, the Shout Band has six singers accompanied by a group of talented folks who play the guitar, bass, trombone, percussion, drums, and keyboards. Often a guest artist performs with the band.

In real life, our band is:

• a salesman
• a public relations guy
• two teachers
• a software engineer
• a financial planner
• several students
• and even others!

We love making music together for worship. Last Spring we led a “contemporary worship band workshop (whew) at United Theological Seminary. Last April we played at the world General Conference of United Methodists in Texas. In May we helped lead opening worship at the Minnesota Annual Conference of United Methodists in St. Cloud. Is that awesome or what?

When and Where

We play every Sunday at the 11:00 service. We rehearse on Wednesdays at 7:15 in the sanctuary.

Committment

Year round (yes, we take breaks, too!)
