Sermon Series – Ordinary Heroes (Stories of our faith ancestors) Begins September 11!
What makes someone a hero? We usually think of heroes as people with special powers (like Superman or Wonder Woman), or special success (like Presidents or professional athletes) or special Godly status (like Abraham or Mary). It can be easy to think that God uses only a handful of people to do amazing things. The reality? God uses ordinary people, all of the time, to do extraordinary things. Join us as we take a look at some of the ordinary, less known heroes of our faith who made a difference. As we learn about heroes of our past, we will also celebrate the ordinary heroes among us now!
September 18: Our Ordinary Hero this Sunday is: Josiah, with a theme of: The importance of youthful leadership and wisdom. The 9:00am service will feature the Sanctuary Choir and the Dolce Wind Quintet.
September 25: Our Ordinary Hero is: Jethro, with a them of the importance of delegation. Our worship services will feature our Festival Bells.
