Theatre Camp

What’s in the Bible?

August 1-5, 2022

Grades 3 – 8

Cost: $125

This year, LHUMC’s first ever Theatre Camp presents the original show, What’s in the Bible? written by Ariel Johnson with music by Alec Iorio. This 45 minute show explores a few of our favorite Old Testament Bible characters in a modern way – participation on a game show! Our host, Abraham, will play the game What’s in the Bible with Esther, Job, and Ruth. Who wins? You’ll have to wait and see to find out!
Auditions take place right away on Monday morning of camp, with roles assigned that same day. Scripts will be available ahead of time – all who participate in the camp get a part!
Camp runs from 9am-4pm Monday, August 1st through Friday, August 5th with a 5:00pm performance for parents and family members following camp on Friday, and then another performance on Sunday, August 7th in worship here at Lake Harriet at 9:30am. Campers will also help serve communion and assist in other elements of worship.
